Located on the Yuzaki Peninsula in Wakayama prefecture, its often considered to be the oldest bathing region in Japan. This region is characterised by blue sea and white sand, reflected in the sparkling colour of this bath.

How to use bath powder

It couldn't be easier.

  1. Select a bath powder. Which one? Who cares, they're all good.
  2. Fill the tub to your preferred temperature.
  3. Tear open the sachet (doesn't that feel good?).
  4. Pour the powder in, preferably under running water - watch that plume of joy grow!
  5. Stir lightly to dissolve if needed.
  6. Immerse yourself. It's just you, your knees and the water.
  7. Chill. Breathe out. We don't make these rules. Close your eyes and lie in the dark, listen to your favourite podcast or watch Netflix - just promise us you'll give yourself permission to soak.
  8. When you're done, drain and enjoy the relief of a residue free tub.
